Focusing on the work of local artists (photographers, film-makers but also music, poetry and literature) the Dream Gallery open to the public throughout May and June 2017 will allow people to understand how different forms of expression can contribute to social change, reconciliation and sustainable peace.
The Gallery is part of larger educational exhibition program known as Making Peace
, that has so far been presented in 12 major cities around the world; inspiring youth and especially those at-risk, to identify an issue about which they are passionate, and to take action to create a positive change in their own community.
“Of all our dreams today there is none more important – or so hard to realise – than that of peace in the world. May we never lose our faith in it or our resolve to do everything that can be done to convert it one day into reality” – Lester B. Pearson, Nobel Peace Laureate (1957)
